Conti-Lines is a specialist in the maritime transport of steel, dry bulk and project cargoes. Apart from tramping the high seas, we offer liner services with regular departures as well as parcelling services with flexible port rotations. We are owners and operators, active in both deep-sea and shortsea trades, with a diversified fleet up to Ultramax size vessels.
For our deep-sea commercial desk, we are looking for an experienced Commercial Manager.

What can you expect:

• Preparing voyage estimations and freight calculations
• Offering freight and negotiating charter parties
• Analyzing market developments and financial performance
• Developing and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers
• Liaising with all relevant parties (port captains, agents, brokers, etc.)
• Working closely with the operations department to find commercial solutions to operational challenges

Your profile:

• Fluent in English (written and spoken); strong communication skills with attention to detail. French is a plus
• Dynamic and client-oriented mindset
• Strong commercial awareness and excellent negotiation skills
• Proven experience in a fast-paced commercial environment
• Flexible, accurate and reliable
• Experience in shipping (Africa trade, breakbulk or dry bulk cargoes) is a strong asset
• Candidates with experience in commodity trading, freight trading or similar commercial trading environments are also encouraged to apply
